The Facilities & Business Operations Department is responsible for the following areas:

Library Facilities Management
Implementation of plans for maintaining buildings in a safe, efficient, and attractive manner
Ensuring the health and safety of members of the library community by complying with federal, state, and local rules, regulations and codes

Overall building care

Liaisons to Building Care for personnel and scheduling issues
Liaisons to Maintenance Management for planned, deferred, and routine maintenance

Furniture and equipment procurement and repairs
Moving of furniture and equipment
Negotiation and management of library equipment service agreements
