Diversity at CUL - The Library Fellows Program
* Due to economic conditions and budget reductions, this program has temporarily been suspended.
The Library Fellowship Program was designed for recent MLS graduates who want the opportunity to learn about academic libraries. The program allowed the Library Fellow the unique opportunity to work in one or more functional areas, to explore new information technologies, to collaborate on a project, and to participate in a challenging work environment.
A flexible program for each Fellow was developed to balance individual goals and interests with the Cornell Library's needs for new initiatives. In addition, the Fellow's professional interests were supported with conference travel funding, a mentoring program, specialized training, continuing education, and library committees. Library Fellow were eligible for regular continuing appointments that arose in the Cornell University Library.
