Learning Opportunities:
SCHEDULED for Fall 2012
- Respect@Cornell: As part of its commitment to diversity and inclusion, Cornell is making a concerted effort to ensure that our community can identify potential acts of prohibited harassment and discrimination and know who to contact and consult about it. Our aim is to make sure campus remains a safe and respectful academic and workplace environment focused on education. Our goal is to have library employees complete this training by December 2012. Please use the link to access more information and instructions for completing the on-line video.
- Management Institute for Academic Professionals: This is a certificate bearing program designed for academic professionals who manage labs, programs, staff, students or volunteers. The program focuses on respectful and inclusive human dynamics in the academic context and includes 5 live and 3 on-line modules. Each live session runs 4 hours. The entire program is offered twice, with the second iteration beginning one week after the first program. Please contact Amy Stewart at abs273@cornell.edu or call 4-2352 to register.
Library Learning Opportunities was created
