Relaxation Strategies for De-Stressing at Work
CUL employees’ commitment to superior customer service is one of our hallmarks of excellence. Sustaining excellent customer service over time and personal well-being requires that we nurture our own bodies, minds, and spirits even while serving others.
During this 3-hour workshop, Diane Hecht will discuss stress versus balance and well-being and provide recent research that demonstrates the profound effects thoughts, emotions, and a meditation practice have on our body chemistry. Participants will explore a variety of self-care strategies for stress management: deeply relaxing yogic breathing, meditations, joy visualizations, and a progressive muscle relaxation exercise. These relaxation techniques are free, simple to learn, require little or no specialized equipment, and can be easily incorporated into daily life. Discover how to relax and bring more peace, joy, well-being and good health into your life.

Time Management
Encore, please! This workshop is a repeat of the highly successful program offered by Jim Sheridan earlier this year.
Too much to do and not enough time to do it is a common problem faced by many people today. Getting the most out of every hour in a day is a constant challenge in our busy work world of multiple, competing priorities, overflowing inboxes, constant interruptions, endless meetings…the list goes on and on.
Although this program will not give you more hours in the day, it will teach you how to effectively decide what to do and when to do it. This value-packed training program explains the fundamentals of time management, the value of linking time use to goals, provides proven ways to get the most out of a day including techniques for eliminating time wasters, and taking back control of your time.
