Locations and hours: Find all the libraries in Cornell's system.
Food: Food is not allowed in any of Cornell's libraries to protect collections, furnishings, and equipment. Olin and Mann libraries have cafes where food consumption is permitted.
Beverages: Beverages in containers with spill-proof lids are allowed in all the libraries, unless posted notices specifically forbid them. Open soda cans, cups and glasses without lids, and drinks with tops that unscrew are not permitted.
Cell phones: Most libraries have designated areas for cell phone use. Please refrain from phone conversations in quiet zones and turn ringers off while in the Library.
Smoking: Smoking is not permitted in any of the libraries.
Disability services: The Library is committed to providing accomodations for people with disabilities.
Confidentiality: Cornell University Library holds in confidence all information about individual Library users and their choices of research or study material, to the extent allowable by law.
Security: Cornell University Library maintains a security policy for its collections.
Pets: Cornell University prohibits pets in university-controlled buildings, except for animals that are specifically exempt.
