Bollywood collection
"The dynamic new face of South Asian studies! It started out as serious, hard-core piles of manuscripts, but now the world knows about India and Bollywood is carrying it. It's a part of comparative literature these days; it’s rare to read a scholarly paper on India that doesn’t make reference to film. It’s colorful, it’s singing and dancing, it’s the New India – and it's at the Library."
Renovated learning spaces in Mann
“We have a classroom for workshops – specifically, to teach workshops and class sections on everything you need to know to do research fast and effectively. In the new Bissett Collaborative Center on the second floor of Mann, if people have group projects, they can pull together anything they need on the fly: chairs, tables, computer equipment, mobile technology, plasma screens.
Passkey
"When I'm off-campus and trying to get into JSTOR or Proquest or any of the licensed databases, all I have to do is click the Passkey icon on my browser. I'm automatically prompted for my Cornell credentials, which lets me into the database in one quick step. It saves a lot of time and effort!"
Rare Books and Manuscript Collection
"The Library system is a really great resource for physical texts, in addition to the online collections. In one class, I had to go to RMC in Kroch and look through a facscimile of the Book of Kells. It's amazing visually, and to have the copy physically in front of you instead of just on a computer was such a connection.
