Tips to consider for this assignment:
1. Have a clear understanding of the assignment. What is the length of the paper? What are you suppose to report?
2. Look at the suggested readings on reserve and this list.
3. Check the bibliography and indexes of books related to your topic.
4. Use more than one database.
5. To learn the best way to use a particular database check out that database help page. There is usually some type of variation for each database.
6. Be flexible with the use of search terms. For example when using databases to located material, use keyword combinations:
  reparations and african americans; reparations and john conyers; reparations and slavery; reparations and blacks.
