of New York at Buffalo. Videotaped on April, 17 1988 at the Ujamaa Residential
College, Cornell University. Pabon describes stories that reflect self-encounters.
He discusses the living culture of Puerto Rico that serves to preserve
the concept of an inner-self that heals. Pabon also discusses a film
that reflects his work on exposing the images that show how encounters
can reveal the inner-self. These encounters continue from the Afro-Latino
cultural experience. Other true stories from the Spanish world are also
told. His lecture largely deals with the encounters in the Spanish world.
