Minutes
Attending: Patricia O'Neill (chair), Susan Barnes (recorder), Tony Cosgrave, Michael Engle, Peter MacDonald, Barbara Prior, Nancy Skipper.
Patricia announced that she and Tony have been speaking with University Publications about receiving design help for libraries' home pages. Univ. Pub. will be coming up with suggestions regarding the CUL page, the Phys Sci page, and one other (to be announced). Patricia and Tony will also be speaking to Media Services about this subject, so we can compare what the two units have to offer.
The committee looked at the new Music Library home page, and agreed that the banner was one of the best of all the CU libraries' banners. The graphic is lovely, and putting the library name on one side makes the name very easy to see. The library locator information at the top of the page is well-placed. The committee had a few recommendations, which Michael will discuss with Lenore.
The group agreed that recommendations for map sections should be developed. We then discussed the glossary. The next meeting will be in two weeks (4/16/96) in Olin 106.
