What precisely is on the FTP Server?
Use FTP software to access the server at digilib.library.cornell.edu. The login name is Voyager; if you don't know the password, call Desktop Services at 255-8530.
Updates and changes to the server will be announced on the
cul-netadmin-l listserv, and summarized at <http://www.library.cornell.edu/dlit/ds/vc/status.htm>.

Access Reports
Included here are customized groups of reports for various library service areas such as Circulation and Collection Development. To use any of these you'll need Office 2000. You'll also need to install and configure ODBC drivers.
Lydia Pettis is responsible for the customized files.
Desktop Services can help your net admin obtain and install Office and the ODBC drivers. See also ODBC Driver Files and Office.
The NOTIS OPR.mdb file includes NOTIS data which didn't migrate to Voyager. Contact Scott Wicks for more information on this file.

Endeavor Voyager Installer
- V2000.exe
If you use Cornell's installer, you don't need this.
This is Endeavor's "plain vanilla" installer which comes in three pieces: VoyagerConfig.exe,
VoyagerPrograms.exe, VoyagerSystem.exe. It doesn't include any of Cornell's
customizations, so after you install the three pieces, you'll still need to
add Cornell's pieces. Therefore, we recommend you use Cornell's installer instead.

ImageServer
ImageServer is used for electronic course reserve. Documents can be integrated into the Voyager WebOPAC. ISInstall.exe includes the instructions and pieces needed to install ImageServer.

LIBSYS
The Library Systems office will let you know if you need these files.

ODBC Driver Files
- ODBC805SP2.exe
You'll need ODBC drivers if you wish to view Voyager data through Microsoft Access, or if you're using Gary Strawn's Cataloger's Toolkit or spine labelling program. This is the installation package. For directions on installing and configuring the drivers, see the Brain Dump, inside the CUL Voyager installer directory.
- ora8058.exe
This is a patch for the Oracle ODBC driver. For now, only those who are using ImageServer need it (and it's included in the ISInstall.exe download in the ImageServer directory). Contact Amy if you need more information about it.

- Gary Strawn's Spine Labelling Program
Updated May 25, 2000
For those who put call number labels on library material. Voyager comes with a spine label program, but Gary's program is much more flexible. The vgerspin folder contains Gary's instructions and setup files. You should also download the Cornell configuration information document.
If you use this program you'll need to install and configure ODBC drivers.
- Macro Express
Important:Please read the Readme.txt file included in this folder and the instruction page written by Alison Reissman for information pertaining to installation and to Technical Services macros.
