Find Databases update
Camille and the group discussed some preliminary revisions to the Find Databases documentation, in light of the migration to a new electronic resource management system. We will note prominently that Find Databases does not include all databases (and never will) and that users should search the catalogue if they do not find what they are looking for in Find Databases.

Blackboard/Library integration
Camille passed out draft documentation for the new library resources that will be available through Blackboard, including links to the Gateway, Ask a Librarian, and RefWorks. The documentation covering course-specific integration is still being completed. Some minor changes to the wording were suggested, and group members made several suggestions regarding where the documentation should “live” on the Gateway; the general consensus being that it should be linked from several pages which concern specific aspects of the documentation (content, access problems, citation management, etc.).

Camille noted that there will be multiple drafts of the Blackboard documentation over the next few months as CIT reviews the documentation and problems or issues with the service.

Committee members raised the point that people other than current students and staff may be registered for classes (typically as auditors) but will not have remote access to Cornell licensed resources; this will have to be clarified in the Blackboard documentation.
