Documentation Committee Meeting Minutes 
April 18th, 2001, Olin 106, 9am

In attendance -- Betsy Gamble, Angela Horne, Lee Lafleur, Lori Micho, Howard Raskin, Leah Solla, Kornelia Tancheva

1. We welcomed Betsy Gamble of the Music Library as our newest Documentarian. We were also pleased to have Howard Raskin of Mann attend the first part of our meeting. He and Susan Currie will be writing a few access services help pages.

2. We reviewed the technical components of creating help pages.

3. We discussed how to handle non-Cornell requests to use the content of the library help pages. Other institutions occasionally approach us to use our materials, and we agreed to allow them to use our content. We would stipulate, however, that a "copyright Cornell University Library" statement be included.

4. We assigned editors/creators for the following pages

a. EndNote -- Lori will contact Bob Kibbee to determine this page's status

b. Voyager FAQ -- Lori and Angela

c. Library Research (Overview) -- Kornelia

d. MyLibrary -- Angela

e. ILL -- Lori

f. Patron Info (change entry to "Hold, Recall, and Renewal Requests") -- Lori and Angela

g. Library Gateway, Networked Resources overview -- Kornelia

h. IE5 (for Mac and PC) -- Lee

i. Add IE5 to Telnet/Acrobat/Excel/GZip pages -- Lee

j. Resolve errors and technical questions -- Kornelia

k. Proxy pages -- Angela

l. Finding e-journals / journals -- Leah

m. Finding music materials -- Betsy

n. Netscape 6 -- Betsy

5. Next meeting -- TBA, in mid-May
