Announcements:
Paul Houle may be able to write a script that will create an A-Z Title List for the Help pages (using the title info in help page metadata) to replace the now broken a-z keyword list. He probably won't have time to take a look at this until December, at the earliest.
Reminder that we should be notifying IRPC-L about new pages or major revisions to old pages.
Carmen mentioned that electronic document delivery from the Annex is now done through ILLiad. Information will be revised on the Annex Requests.
The Find e-Journals interface will be changed next semester.
Completed Tasks:
Revisions to Library Research at Cornell: Overview have been completed.
Universal replacement of the new ILLiad link has been done for all help pages. Thanks to Maureen Morris for assistance with this.
Amy has reorganized the technical support section on the main help page. It looks great!
Ida has indexed all of Gail's metadata updates.
The glossary page has been removed from the main tocs.
Ida has corrected the ports information on Using Library Resources Off Campus.
Ida has updated metadata changes (indexing project) for 6 pages submitted by amy.
Ida has temporarily removed the button for the A-Z list until the list is re-created as an A-Z Title List.
New Tasks:
The MyDocument Delivery section of the MyLibrary help page, needs some minor updating. Text should be changed to read "MyDocument Delivery is a fee-based electronic delivery service for Cornell faculty, staff and students. Mydocument Delivery provides electronic/pdf copies of journal articles and book chapters from materials located in participating Cornell University Libraries" (delete references to "pilot", "fully registered graduate students" and the list of libraries participating in the pilot).
Ida mentioned that the Z39.50 Endnote page needs some metadata. Gail volunteered to do this.
Find Articles/Find Databases documentation needs to be reviewed for updates or revisions.
--Ida will work on the Find Databases page
--Kizer will work on Search Tips for Finding Databases
--Lynn will work on Find Articles, Search Tips for Find Articles and Find it at Cornell
--Amy will review the technical parts of the FAQ's
--Gail will work on the Find Databases/Find Articles Overview page
