Mary Patterson visited the Copy/Print Center at Olin Library to examine the contents of the Print Doc. / Handouts folder on file there. She presented samples of some of those documents and the Committee discussed potential revisions and updates. (eg: CUL Glossary, e-Reference Collection Quickguide (HTML and PDF), and the CUL Bookmark). Mary will get exact copies of those documents in the Copy Ctr. Print Doc. / Handouts folder that the Committee is responsible for and bring them for the group to review. She will ask Copy Ctr staff (Allen) about preferred formats (electronic or print).

Thad Dickinson reviewed his work investigating the utility of Internet Explorer 6 for CUL Gateway applications, particularly Telnet. He presented a version of the work in progress and the Committee made suggestions for both the content and structure of this page. Thad will make the modifications and email them to the group. Lee will check in with Holly Mistlebauer to see if there have been any developments in her investigation of problems associated with IE6.

Lee reported that all of the corrected pages from the Link-checking exercise should now be in place on the production server (Ivy). Team members are encouraged to look at the pages they worked on to verify corrections. Lee has run a second check and is in the process of analyzing the results.

Lee presented the Help pages that Kornelia and the OPAC team designed as part of the Ask-A-Librarian / Live Help initiative. Some version of these pages will be added to Gateway help when members of the Gateway team have completed the related modifications.

The Committee discussed arrangements for the next meeting. Mary Patterson agreed to look into availability of meeting space at the Engineering Library (Carpenter) for the end of June / early July.
