Gateway HELP Update: Angi updated the group on recent activities of GW Help:
1) Angi was asked by the GW Committee to look at the wording on the "Select a Library"
     pull-down menus on  various GW forms. Lance is going to look over the forms and
     present the issues and options.
2) Lance is currently reviewing all existing pages of Help to make sure that we did
     not overlook something in our new help outline.
3) Nan added information on how to automatically configure NS4 on a Mac to the
     configuration page.
4) The ProQuest Direct title list help is complete and Greg McClellan will implement with
     direction from Jim LeBlanc.
5) Angi is still working on writing standards for marking up new help pages.
6) Work on the configuration checker is finished.
7) The GW Committee will make changes to all configuration pages. Configuring for TN
     3270 will be made more clear in Help.

Upate on the Gateway HELP revision project: Angi reviewed the latest set of changes to the proposed Gateway Help Table of Contents (GW TOC). Angi met with the technical writer at Mann who recommended a few wording changes which Angi incorporated into the latest TOC. We reviewed these changes and then had an in-depth discussion of the Research Assistance portion of the proposed revision. We altered a few words and terms in an attempt to make the arrangement of various pieces of documentation and hypertext links   more intuitive. These proposed outlines will soon be available to share with IRPC and at the unit level.

We postponed discussion of other agenda items until our next meeting ... Tuesday, 2/23, from 8:30-10:00 in 106 Olin.
