IMPORTANT! Saving your work:
If you wish to save something temporarily on the laptop, use the desktop folder named "My Documents in Thawspace." Material saved in any other location on the hard drive or desktop WILL BE LOST if the computer is shut down or loses power for any reason. Please save your work early and often.

If you wish to save your work to a more permanent location, you may do so by:

  • Saving to your personal diskette, CD, or USB flash memory drive
  • E-mailing your work as an attachment
  • File transfer (FTP) to your CU PEOPLE account or other server space

Please note: Any work left in the "Thawspace" folder when the laptop is returned will be available to the next patron. Be sure to delete any personal work you don't want others to see. "Thawspace" material is cleared out every 48 hours.

Printing:
You can print from the laptop using your Net-Print account. There are two Net-Print printers in the Fine Arts Library Main Reading Room.
