The CUL Instruction Working Group has been formed as an open forum for all staff to discuss instruction issues facing the library. Ross Atkinson established the following charge for the group:

The Instruction Working Group will serve as an open forum for all interested CUL staff to learn about and to discuss information on all issues relating to instruction. Specifically the purpose of the group will be:

To increase the visibility and importance of the library instruction programs and services on campus by:


The agenda for the Working Group will be set by the Steering Committee, the members of which will rotate every two years.

The current members of the Steering Committee of the Instruction Working Group are Anthony J. Cosgrave (chair), Kornelia Tancheva (chair), Susanne K. Whitaker, Jill H. Powell, Thad Dickinson, Virginia A. Cole, Ira Revels, Kizer Walker, and Thomas Mills. We will help set the agenda for the open meetings and encourage staff to propose agenda topics to any member of the Steering Committee.
