New Cornell Logo for Everyone!M.B. Bunge Whether you’re whipping up a PowerPoint presentation for ALA, planning an orientation hand-out for fall semester, or envisioning a new Web site, it’s important to include the new Cornell University logo (and to put it where it’s supposed to go)!
Library Communications would like to help CUL staff decipher the new logo guidelines by offering a brown bag discussion with Cornell Publications and Marketing staff on Wednesday, July 13, at 12:15. Participants are invited to bring print and Web page samples for discussion.
The vice president for Communications, Tommy Bruce, has given all university departments until October 29, 2005 to convert print materials to the new logo. This means that we may use up stationery and other materials that have the “red box” logo between now and October. However, materials that will be distributed from October 29 on should be in compliance with the new logo rules. Feel free to contact Mary Beth Bunge (mbb3; 5-4813), Beth Fontana (eaf3; 5-3322, or Carla DeMello (cd58; 4-7286) with any specific logo/identity questions you may have or visit www.cornell.edu/identity/ for branding rationale, logo guidelines, a detailed style guide, and downloadable templates. |
