Welcome to the IRIS Transition Web site!
This site enables the IRIS Transition Team to document its work and provides two-way communication with all IRIS staff members and other interested individuals with Cornell University Library and beyond. The transition team is articulating a vision for IRIS that embodies the Library's mission and supports the Master Plan. IRIS will thrive on innovation, build on the staff's tradition of excellence, and create opportunities for development and growth. New initiatives will not come at the expense of current service objectives but both will be considered bread and butter functions of IRIS.

The team is developing an implementation plan that marshals a transformation of functions, services, and resources in the short and long term. Recognizing that the success of the plan depends on the willingness of all IRIS staff to engage in this process, we look forward to hearing from you, either directly or via the suggestion box.
