Academic Law Library Statistics
Only statistical summaries available online for free - data since 1998. This site includes order information for complete reports. Each year contains a core set of data: collections; expenditures; personnel and public services; and Ph.D.s granted, faculty and enrollment statistics. Each year also contains questions on a particular area of interest (e.g., information literacy (2003), space utilization (2002)), although recently it has been the measures included in ARL's supplementary survey.
NCES (National Center for Education Statistics):
Biennial data from "all identified institutions whose primary purpose is to provide post secondary education." "NCES is the primary federal entity for collecting and analyzing data that are related to education in the United States and other nations ...The National Center for Education Statistics fulfills a Congressional mandate to collect, collate, analyze, and report complete statistics on the condition of American education; conduct and publish reports; and review and report on education activities internationally."
