Common Depository System (CDS)
Conceived as a central depository for digital images, this initiative has evolved into a common depository system to address the preservation requirements of digital content in all formats and provides a focal point for digital preservation initiatives at Cornell.

Digital Preservation Officer
The Digital Preservation Officer (DPO) coordinates the development and implementation of preservation policy for Cornell University Library (CUL) and serves as a liaison to the Library’s, as well as external, digital preservation projects and initiatives.
Digital Consulting and Production Services (DCAPS)
A service available to the greater Cornell community, DCAPS provides expertise in creating digital collections in support of research and instructional activities.
Digital Library and Information Technologies (D-LIT)
This division has responsibility for planning, implementing, and providing technical support for information technology programs and network linkages throughout Cornell University Library, including the library management system, the Library Web server, system integration and interface development, digital library initiatives, local area networks, and desktop computing.
