OPAC/Gateway Configuration Team
Notes from the January 24, 2000 meeting

Attending: Lynn Brown, Karen Calhoun, Elaine Engst, Lance Heidig, Tom Gale, Philip Herold, Fred Muratori, Pat Schafer, Noni Vidal, Ed Weissman

Following a meeting with the Implementation Steering Committee, at which the Team's recommendation to defer the integration of the Networked Resources component of the Gateway within the WebVoyage online catalog until June 2001 was discussed and accepted, the Team covered the following issues:

1) IRPC presentation post-mortem
The Team agreed that, in general, the attendees at this morning's IRPC meeting were comfortable with the Team's approach to the "look and feel" of WebVoyage design and with the work that the Team has done to date. Specific suggestions from IRPC meeting attendees were noted.

2) Tasks
We divided up the work we need to accomplish as follows:
* Search definitions and search screen displays: Elaine, Karen, Philip
* Individual record displays: Fred (working with Marty Kurth who is associated with the Technical Services Workflow group)
* Heading lists and Title lists: Lynn, Ed
* Database definitions/Hook-to-holdings/Simultaneous searching: Fred
* Patron requests: Pat
* Help/documentation: Lance
Also:
Philip will maintain a list of the configuration changes we make so that we can keep track of what we've done and how we've done it.
Noni will serve as design yogi.
Tom will focus his attention on Gateway-WebVoyage integration.
Lance will look at documentation and help in generic WebVoyage and create an inventory of places where help can be customized.
