- Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) has a Marketplex page which provides delayed (but current day) futures & options quotes and historical trading data on active and closed contracts. Market commentaries and recaps of the day's trading are available. Contains information about research seminars, grants, financial workshops, and course descriptions.
- Chicago Mercantile Exchange provides users with commodity product information including trading and new developments. Allows users to participate in an online simulated trading scenario when registered for a fee. It also includes contract specifications by products, prices and charts, performance bond (margin) rates, and a product calendar.
- Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) regulates commodity futures and option markets in the United States. This site provides a variety of regulatory information, speeches/press releases by members of the commission, and market statistics. Contains Commitments of Traders data.
- Ino.com provides current data and charts on commodities traded on most U.S. exchanges. Search by keyword or exchange to view trading on active contracts. Puts, calls, and strike prices on options are listed. In addition, weekly, daily, and intraday price charts are available.
- STAT-USA is the Internet source for business and economic information produced by the Federal Government. STAT-USA gathers information from over 50 Federal agencies and distributes from a central source. STAT-USA includes U.S. economic data & release calendars, exchange rates, industrial data, and consumer credit reports. It's international side includes trade opportunity leads, international industry, market analysis, imports, exports, and guides for U.S. companies doing business in different countries.
- Turtletrader provides Futures contracts on 23 commodities dating back as far as the 1970's; historical coverage differs by commodity. Daily open, high, low, close, and volume.The service provides additional data for a fee. Data is downloaded in ASCII format and can be opened using Stuffit Expander and imported into most spreadsheets. The site is available in several different languages including German, Spanish, French, Italian and Dutch.
