- Consumer Information Center famous for its Pueblo, CO address, the CIC publishes the Consumer Information Catalog which lists over 200 Federal publications covering topics such as Federal benefits, health, cars, children, housing and money matters. The Catalog and the publications listed can be viewed online or downloaded.
- ConsumerLine
provided by the Federal Trade Commission, offers the full text of more than 140
consumer and business publications. Categories include credit, investments,
health and fitness, telemarketing, homes and real estate, products and
services, automobiles and buying and working at home. It also contains "Consumer Alerts" articles and information on consumer fraud.
- J.D. Power and Associates provides free access to part of its market research online. Contains annual award listings for the automotive, telecommunications, boats, finance, homes, healthcare, and travel industries, and provides access to statistical and descriptive excerpts from its annual consumer studies.
- Survey of Consumer Finances (SCF) is a triennial survey of the balance sheet, pension, income, and other demographic characteristics of U.S. families. The survey also gathers information on the use of financial institutions. The links to the surveys provide summary results of the surveys, codebooks and related documentation, and the publicly available data.
