In keeping with Socrates' idea that the truth should be pursued,
not discovered, Johnson School students now have access to Socrates,
a social research database. Socrates provides unique company profiles
that include coverage of issues related to community, diversity,
employee relations, environment, non-US operations, products,
alcohol, tobacco, gambling, nuclear power and military contracting.
The profiles also have social ratings evaluating each company’s
strengths and concerns. Access to Socrates is limited to computers

"Find Articles," "Find Databases," and "Find
e-Journals." Use Find Articles
to search more than one online database within a search session
and to link directly from a citation to full text, when full
text is available. Use Find Databases
to access pproximately 1000 different reference resources including
periodical indexes, catalogs, directories, dictionaries and
encyclopedias. Use Find e-Journals
to search the more than 20,000 electronic journals licensed
by the Library. To use these three new services, go to the Cornell University Library Gateway.
