A digital library that makes the full text of 275 agricultural journals available on a low-cost, palm-sized external hard-drive for universities, agricultural research organizations and government ministries in eligible low-income countries. In cooperation with over 50 major scientific publishers, societies, and index providers, staff at Cornell's Albert R. Mann Library oversee production, distribution, outreach, and marketing of TEEAL. Mann staff also work with the South Africa-based Information and Training Outreach Center for Africa (ITOCA) to provide training on its use. New grant funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is helping Mann to expand TEEAL's distribution throughout sub-Saharan Africa and in Asia.
