Electronic ReserveThe full text of journal articles or sections of books, course syllabi, problem sets, and other materials are now available through the course reserve option in the Library Catalog. The advantages of the electronic reserve system include multiple access to materials and fast printing, which means no more waiting in line at the circulation desk or the photocopiers. Please note: material used in course packets available at the Cornell Store may not be simultaneously placed on electronic reserve. Material found to be used in course packets will be removed from electronic reserve. Paper copies of scanned material will no longer be kept at the circulation desk because material will be electronically available on any computer which has access to the Cornell online catalog and an Adobe Acrobat Reader plug-in. Books, videos, DVDs, and audio cassettes that have been placed on course reserve will continue to be available at the circulation desk. For more information on electronic course reserve, please contact Carmen Blankinship, Access Services Librarian at 255-9567 or cb16@cornell.edu. Questions can also be sent to the course reserve mailbox at okureserve@cornell.edu. |
