Jared Diamond to speak in Bailey Hall on Tuesday, September 25, 2001.

You've read the book! Now hear the author!

In a presentation based on his book, Guns, Germs, and Steel, Dr. Jared Diamond will take us on a rollicking ride through history, explaining in 1 hour what happened to everybody in the last 13,000 years.

When: 7:00 P.M. September 25, 2001
Where: Bailey Hall

This presentation is free and open to the general public.

Jared Diamond will also lead a discussion group in the Libe Cafe in Olin Library on Wednesday, September 26th, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Refeshments served starting at 8:00 a.m.

In a question-and-answer session, Mr. Diamond will address questions about the process of writing the book and the way its response might shape his future projects.

Seating is limited to 150 people. Tickets will be distributed in a lottery.
