ABC-CLIO (Historical Abstracts and America: History and Life) Downloading Instructions:
Once you've marked some records from your search results:
1. Choose Output Options
2. On the Output Options screen, chose
Full Entry
All or Tagged (depending on whether you marked records or not)
Tab-Delimited Display
3. Choose Submit
4. From your browser's file menu, choose Save As, name it, and for "save as type" choose text file, and put it on the desktop for convenience or some other place you'll be able to find it. Typically the text file needs to be closed in order for the filter to work.
5. Go to EndNote and choose import under the file menu. Find the text file
you created, and the filter you downloaded (you should have put the filter in
your EndNote filters folder), and import into a library.
