Houses Creation Station Facilities and Services

Facilities:
There are nine Creation Stations available in the new Cornell Library Collaborative Learning Computer Laboratory (CL3) in Uris Library. The CL3 is located on the Gallery Level in Uris at the bottom of the stairs to your left when you enter the building.  These computers are for use by students using the Creation Stations for course-related projects. This room will be staffed by student computer assistants.

Spring Semester hours:

CL3 will be closed Friday, May 2nd

Monday - OPEN: 10am-noon, CLOSED: noon-5pm, OPEN: 5-7pm, CLOSED: 7-9:30pm, OPEN: 9:30-midnight
Tuesday - OPEN: 3pm-midnight
Wednesday - OPEN: 1:30-7:30pm, CLOSED: 7:30-9:30pm, OPEN: 9:30pm-midnight
Thursday - OPEN: 2:30-midnight
Friday - OPEN: 10am-noon, CLOSED: noon-5:30pm, OPEN: 5:30-9pm
Saturday - OPEN: noon - 6pm
Sunday - OPEN: 1pm - midnight


Please complete the online reservation request form to reserve equipment during these hours.

Peripherals include digital still cameras, digital video cameras, digital voice recorders, and computer/video projectors. These can be checked out for 24 hours from the CL3 in Uris Library during the regular lab hours.

Services:
Student computer assistants have been trained to provide basic support only for use of Creation Station computers and peripherals. Users are expected to either know how to use the software they need or be willing to invest the time to learn the software. Lab operators are not always able to help users with all of their software needs.
