Olin Library Study Space

There are study tables with Ethernet connections for laptops throughout the reference stacks on the Main Level for quiet study. There are additional study tables and seating available on the Lower Level. The Current Periodicals Room on the Main Level is also designated a QUIET study space.


Group Study Room

Room 302 in Olin Library is available for group study on a first-come first-serve basis.


Graduate Study Rooms

Rooms devoted to graduate study in specific subject areas have been designated as follows:

Graduate Study Carrels

Study Carrels are available to Graduate Students in Olin Library. [Undergraduates working on their Honors Thesis see Uris Study Spaces for information on carrels.]

In Olin Library, there are two different types of Carrels -- Open Carrels and Locked Carrels. Any registered graduate student can request an open carrel. Graduate students who have passed their A exams can request to be put on a waiting list for a locked carrel.

Carrels are assigned in Room 116. Applications for carrels will be accepted beginning on the first day of classes.
