comprehensive collection of over 240,000 maps, 3,200 books and atlases,
500 compact discs, and many other related research materials.
The Collection is a full depository library for federal

is supplemented by detailed international topographic mapping, historic
and modern city plans, nautical charts of the world's oceans and seas,
geological maps, reproductions of rare or historic maps, aerial photographs,
globes and a growing collection of GIS data.
Equipment for our users includes workstations with GIS and graphics
software, 12" x 18" and 8-1/2" x 14" color scanners,
CD-R and CD-RW recorders, a networked 8-1/2" x 11" color
laser printer, a copy stand and a light table. Nearby, the Library
Copy Center provides an engineering size (3' x 4') B/W photocopier/scanner
and an 11" x 17" color photocopier. An oversize color plotter
