| AGU American Geophysical Union | After consultation and approval from the Faculty in the Earth and Atmospheric
Sciences, the Engineering Library decided not to subscribe to the electronic
versions of the AGU publications for 2002. This decision will be revised
annually.
Cornell University Library subscribes to the print editions of the following AGU titles that now have electronic versions available: Journal of Geophysical Research (all five sections), Water Resources Research, Reviews of Geophysics, Geophysical Research Letters, Radio Science, Tectonics, Paleoceanography, and Global Biogeochemical Cycles. The print subscription cost for these journals totals $11,031. Subscriptions to the electronic versions would cost $23,099 - an increase of $12,068. In order to pay for this increase we would have to cancel subscriptions to other journals or purchase fewer books. We do not believe that we can justify doing so at this time. jms3/11/03 |
