e-Reference Collection

The e-Reference Collection pages are more or less ready to go. We reviewed them to find any typos or glitches to correct. They may be viewed at http://gould.mannlib.cornell.edu The e-Reference Collection will be implemented between 7 and 8 am on Wednesday August 8th. While no interruption of service is expected, there may be a few odd glitches. The whole thing should be in place and working by 8 am. It would be helpful if members of the NRRIG committee could check out the system first thing on Wednesday.

Holly will work on:

• fixing a bug that is causing pages to load strangely when the back button is used in some cases.
• removing "full text journal" from the drop down menu in the search box that allows the user to select a genre type.
• adding something that "looks clickable" to the announcements box on the first Gateway page so it is more obvious that more information can be found there.

Nan will:

• change the verbs in the announcements on Gould to the present tense, so that when it is moved over on Wednesday, it will be current.
• add a link from the FAQ page to the Gateway help pages.
• send text to Holly for a standard response for the Gateway Support on StaffWeb.
• draft an outline of the Final NRRIG report.

Maureen will:

• draft an outline of the Focus Group section of the final NRRIG report.
• contact the Libe Cafe to get "break coupons" for staff who helped with the focus groups.
