Notes from the April 30, 2003 Meeting

1) Library Workforce Planning staff survey
Pat Schafer provided information about the LARIS Workforce Planning staff survey and presented several draft survey documents, including  a survey outline, the survey definitions document, the survey form and the first draft of the staff instructions in the form of an FAQ.  The primary audience for the survey is the LARIS Workforce Planning Lead Tam but the survey data,combined with demographic and salary information drawn from Library Human Rsources,will provide useful information for reviewing system-wide functions.  LMT made several suggestions with regard to the survey and Pat will work to incorporate them with the survey working group--Karen Calhoun, Lee Cartmill, Susan Markowitz, Nancy McGovern, Pam Stansbury, and Ed Weissman.

2) Budget
LMT continued its review of budget reduction opportunities.
