Notes from the September 10, 2003 Meeting

Attending: Ross Atkinson, Karen Calhoun, Lee Cartmill, Claire Germain, Anne Kenney, Janet McCue, Jean Poland, Sarah Thomas, Ed Weissman

1) Presidential inauguration
LMT discussed the Library's participation in Jeff Lehman's presidential inauguration ceremonies.  Library staff will be invited to march in the procession as a group but LMT recognized that staff in some units may choose to march with their colleges instead.  Although classes are being canceled, LMT decided not to close any of the libraries.

2) LARIS Workforce Planning review
LMT discussed the impact of some of the ideas raised at meetings over the summer for generating efficiencies in library operations.
