Notes from June 8, 2005 Meeting

1) Process for canceling print subscriptions for titles available in electronic form

Ross presented a proposal for how we should proceed as we cancel print subscriptions for those titles available in electronic form. LMT agreed that we will concentrate on moving science journals to e-only in subscription year 2006, on social science journals in subscription year 2007, and on humanities journals in 2008. This will provide us sufficient time to discuss these changes with faculty users. LMT also decided that funding saved by moving a title to e-only will remain in the subject line responsible for that title.

2) Budget

LMT continued its discussions of cost saving opportunities. Sarah will consider the ideas discussed and make decisions on the steps to be taken.
