Help : Research Tools : CU Library Catalog : Frequently Asked Questions : Why do I get a "session has timed out" message when I've only been using the catalog or Find it! or Find e-Journals for a few minutes? Catalog sessions that have had no activity for more than 20 minutes, and Find it!/Find e-Journals sessions that have had no activity for 10 minutes, are automatically disconnected. If the cache setting in your browser is set to never reload pages, you may get a "session has timed out" message before the end of the 10 or 20 minute period. To fix the problem, adjust the cache setting so that pages are checked and reloaded more often. Also clear the cache. You can monitor the time remaining in your catalog session on the countdown clock in the lower lefthand corner of your browser window. |
