Error Messages and Frequently Asked Technical Questions

Error Messages:

• While trying to enter a networked resource on the Gateway, I was asked for a special login name and password (not my Cornell NetID and password). Is this right?
  

•  I received the error message "Internal Server Error." What should I do?
  

•  Why do I get a "session has timed out" message when I've only been using the online catalog, Find it!, or Find e-Journals for a few minutes?
  

•  I typed my search in a Find it! or Find e-Journals search box and received "0 Hits" or "No Hits." I know that the search was correct and that I should have retrieved some records. What did I do wrong?
  
  
• I'm getting this error message: "The resource you are trying to access at ... is not defined in our Cornell Library EZProxy table." What does this mean?
