Conservation, behind the scenes

Cornell University Conservation, part of Cornell University Library's Department of Digital Scholarship and Preservation Services, provides preservation assistance and conservation treatment for all Cornell Library collections.

Conservation experts' work ranges from ensuring that the iconic A.D. White Library is both true to its history and preserved for the future, to keeping centuries-old manuscripts and artifacts in good shape for future generations of scholars, to training international colleagues in Western techniques.
