Kroch Library, Division of Asia Collections

Some of our physical locations are temporarily closed. See Hybrid library for a hybrid semester: COVID-19 updates for the latest information on library services.

The three collections in Carl A. Kroch Library — Southeast Asia, East Asia and South Asia — make up one of the largest and most significant sets of Asia materials in North America. Resources include manuscripts, photographs, prints, microfilm and electronic media, as well as an extensive collection of monographs. Patrons can also peruse a selection of 100 leading newspapers from 20 Asian countries and the latest issues of nearly 400 journals in a variety of languages. One of the most distinctive buildings on the Cornell campus, Kroch epitomizes the University's commitments to preserve open space on campus and provide facilities that serve and enhance research and teaching programs.
