How to Submit Course Reserves

There are two ways to submit course reserve requests at any of the Cornell University Libraries: via reserves staff or via Blackboard.

For suggested submission deadlines, see the Reserves FAQ for Instructors. Most available reserve items can be processed in one week or less. However, items that are currently checked out will need to be recalled from the borrowing patron, and items that the library does not own will need to be purchased and catalogued. As these processes can take at least 2-3 weeks, we recommend submitting all reserve requests as early as possible each semester.

NOTE: If you would like to request streaming media for e-reserves, see the Media Digitization Request Form.
