A full-text, searchable digital library of articles from high-quality research journals in agriculture and related life sciences that is being made available to universities, colleges, research institutes, extension agencies and government ministries in the 110 lowest income countries of the world. TEEAL is delivered on a small footprint computer that can run on one computer workstation or be made available to multiple computers via an institution’s local area network or intranet. In cooperation with over 50 major scientific publishers, societies, and index providers, staff at Cornell's Albert R. Mann Library oversee production, annual updating, distribution, outreach, and marketing of TEEAL. Mann staff work with the South Africa-based Information and Training Outreach Center for Africa (ITOCA) to provide training on its use The latest version contains over 375 journals as well as research material from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
