For the greatest impact, we employ strategic partnerships and collaborations across our Library and with communication peers throughout Cornell University and in other institutions. Internal partnerships include relationships with the Cornell University Press, associate university librarians, library directors, liaisons, outreach and communications staff at unit libraries, curators and others at rare and distinctive collections, and social media practitioners.

We are the primary library contacts to non-library communications professionals. We work very closely with University Relations and communications partners at colleges and units across Cornell to help the Library stay in synch with university messaging priorities and strategic initiatives. These relationships also ensure that, as appropriate, central and college communications staff and resources help promote the Library’s services, collections, programs, and events on Cornell’s outlets and beyond. We collaborate with staff in both academic and administrative units to maximize the reach of our storytelling.
